Stock Charts (Through Feb 26)
Each link displays two daily price-monitoring charts going back as far as 2010. Price series are downloaded from Yahoo Finance. The first chart shows the daily price series with a smoothed trend curve which is extrapolated ahead 50 trading days. Historical fluctuations around trend indicate inherent volatility in the price series. Potential gain is the percent change from the current price to the extrapolated price trend. The second chart shows a smoothed trend of daily price percent changes. Ideally we like to see the trend moving up, indicating price acceleration. Conversely, a downward trend indicates price deceleration. Our two charts can be used together to visualize where we have been, where we are, and where we might be going in the near term. Smoothing is back to the way it was before.
These charts do not represent buy or sell recommendations. They simply provide visual price trends in a format that is not generally available elsewhere. But, of course, we are only showing interesting stock charts from a broad screen. Still extreme hype in stocks like GME and BB.
